AbitibiBowater is a world leader in the forest products industry that manufactures a wide variety of products, including newsprint, commercial printing papers, market pulp and wood products. It is the third largest paper-maker in North America and the eighth worldwide group.

Project Scope

The project involves a major migration from a standard telephone to a CISCO Call Manager Business edition 6000 (including the unity connection) with minimal interruption of services for the users.

Avance Services Réseaux provides project management and technical benefits of this IPT migration including the elaboration of the methodology necessary to meet this customer need.

An unified, functional and versatile communications solution concerning 400 users and integrating a call center solution.

As the AVANCE’s team first tested the Call Manager in the AVANCE’s internal laboratory, service downtime has been greatly reduced and the solution was operational more quickly. We can also highlight the important and lasting collaboration between the teams of AVANCE and AbitibiBowater.
