Company Presentation

Air transport is one of the most dynamic industries in the world, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the global trade organism that rules this industry. For over 60 years, IATA has developed the commercial standards that built a global industry of transportation. Today, IATA’s mission is to represent, guide and serve the airline industry. Its members include nearly 230 airline companies, including the world’s leading passenger and air cargo.

Project Scope

The initial scope of the project was the consolidation of global data centers (Montreal and Geneva) in the framework of a DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan). Collaboration with IATA quickly spread thanks to the desire to support and advise of Advance Network Services to the various stakeholders of the organization of IATA.

Approach for the implementation

The approach used in these various collaborations has been a strong partnership between Advance Network Services and all stakeholders of IATA (from technical consultants to top management). AVANCE Network Services has employed its entire resources to solve as quickly as possible and in the most sustainable way the daily problems facing IATA due to the obsolescence of its network.

Scope of the project

All activities in 2010 amounted to over $ 1 million to be divided between the management of programs such as the DRP program, project management, management of support activities within the operations LAN / WAN and the management of operational security.
